Brad started wrestling at the age 6 and began to dominate the mat right away with 4 Youth State Championships.

Brad went on to wrestle on scholarship at UW- Parkside Wrestling where he continued to grind

•3-time All-American

•3-time Academic All-American

•NCAA Division II National Champion

College career record 39-6

Here at Hartford Wrestling our coaches focus not only on developing skills, but also teach life lessons to carry away from the mat. Coach Becker is a great example of this as he protects and serves in Law Enforcement. 

Brad coaches for our Youth program and has been the head coach for our Hartford Middle School Wrestling program for the last 15 years!

Jeremy started wrestling at the age 6 through all of the Hartford programs, qualifying for State a handful of times. He was a Hartford Middle School wrestling MVP all before heading to the high school.

Jeremy has the ability to get through to kids that most coaches can’t. If a wrestler can’t get out of their own way mentally... you need this coach in your corner. As a parent if your son or daughter is down on points and you see Jeremey kneeling on the mat, they have a chance to do something special. 

Highly respected in the wrestling community, for good reason.  Jeremy has coached our Hartford Middle School Wrestling program for over a decade. He shows integrity in all that he does from coaching to parenting.

Brandon is a true product of Hartford Wrestling. Starting wrestling at the age of 4, he wrestled for Hartford Youth and Hartford Middle School Wrestling, moving on to HUHS.

* 3-Year Letter Winner at HUHS

With his strength and stature “Bear” was someone you didn’t want to cross. Behind the beard and build is a heart of Gold.

In 2010 he started his years of youth coaching the West Bend Wildcat youth wrestling with his brother. Once his brother was done coaching Bear still had more to give!

2015 he joined Brad Becker and Jeremy Spuhler coaching Central Middle School. As if that wasn’t enough he continued to coach the youth seasons every year pulling double duty. 

For those that don’t know, Bear doesn’t have any children in the program, but treats every wrestler as his own. Hartford Wrestling wouldn’t be on the path that it is without selfless Alumni like Bear.
