MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL ARTICLE – Hartford seizes opportunity, grabs Little Ten title

GOT WRESTLING GEAR TO SELL? – Have your little ones moved up a few weight classes and those shoes or singlets are a bit tight?  Don’t let it sit in your closet… we’d love to help you pass it on to another wrestler who could really use it, plus make some $$ along the way.  Just shoot us an email with a general description of what you want to sell, picture(s), price and how you would like to be contacted.  We’ll post it on our site… then it’s up to you.

THURSDAY TUNE-UPS – This is an opportunity for ALL Hartford Club members to wrestle live.  No skills are worked on – just live wrestling. The idea is to get a “warm up” in before going to a tournament on the coming weekend.  Tune Up time is 6-7 pm.  * Central Middle School Balcony

UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS

• Hustisford Tournament – Hustisford is on Sunday, January 29. Coach Cummings IS NOT able to be there – however, it’s a smaller tournament and thus good for newer wrestlers that don’t have too much tournament experience. You do need to be pre-registered and they need to be post marked by this Friday, the 20th.  Registration Form

• Sauk Prairie Tournament – Coach Cummings will be at the Sauk Prairie tournament on Sunday February 12. For those of you scratching your heads thinking “Sauk Prairie – why there?” – It’s his home town / high school. Prairie du Sac/Sauk City (two names but basically one town – they blend together) is a straight shot on Hy 60 about an hour and half from Hartford. Might be a nice way to see some different wrestlers/competition in your weight class. If you’re going to go, be sure to let us know so we can find you that day and Coach will be mat side when your athlete wrestles.  Registration Form

T-SHIRTS ARE IN – Everyone that is signed up at this time in the youth club gets a t-shirt. They were available for pick up at practice on Wednesday (Jan. 4th) . If you were not there Wednesday (Jan. 4th), you will need to see Coach Cummings at a practices to get your shirt.
