HUHS PLACES 2nd @ TEAM STATE - Congratulations to the Wrestling Team on an outstanding State Tournament. With 37-30 win over Lake Geneva Badger in the Quarterfinals, and a 30-25 win over Holmen in the Semifinals the Hartford wrestling team advanced to the State Finals Saturday Night. In a very exciting hard fought dual the Orioles fell to Wisconsin Rapids 25-33 barely missing out on the State Title.
Congratulations Wrestlers for a record breaking season, and placing Second in the State! Go Orioles!!!!!!!!
PRACTICE LOCATION CHANGE – All remaining practices will be held at the Central Middle School Balcony. Last week of practices will be the week of March 19th (21st & 22nd). ** No practice on Wednesday, March 14th due to Banquet.
CLUB MEETING - Come see what we’re all about. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 3rd @ 6 pm in the High School Cafeteria-North. Meetings usually run for about an hour. All parents and wrestling fans welcome!
WRESTLING CLUB BANQUET - Wednesday, March 14th @ 6 pm. HUHS Cafeteria (East/across from gym). Pot Luck Banquet (soda, water & pizza provided). Bring the whole family for Food, Fun, Socialization and of course Prizes/Awards.

GOT WRESTLING GEAR TO SELL? – Have your little ones moved up a few weight classes and those shoes or singlets are a bit tight? Don’t let it sit in your closet… we’d love to help you pass it on to another wrestler who could really use it, plus make some $$ along the way. Just shoot us an email with a general description of what you want to sell, picture(s), price and how you would like to be contacted. We’ll post it on our site… then it’s up to you.
THURSDAY TUNE-UPS – This is an opportunity for ALL Hartford Club members to wrestle live. No skills are worked on – just live wrestling. The idea is to get a “warm up” in before going to a tournament on the coming weekend. Tune Up time is 6-7 pm. * Central Middle School Balcony.
